- ➤ Gov. Jim Pillen signed new Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission regulations on Thursday that limit cannabis production to 1,250 plants per cultivator—capping the state total at 5,000 plants. Advocate Crista Eggers warned that the rules will choke the supply chain and said she is exploring other options after more than two-thirds of voters backed the program in November 2024. KETV
