➤ Bellevue police found 32 year old Luis Zavala and 30 year old Larissa Zavala dead from gunshot wounds during a welfare check Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. near 35th Street and Granada Parkway—authorities say the incident is isolated and poses no threat to the public. KETV

➤ Nebraska lawmakers rejected a bill that would have imposed stricter medical marijuana regulations Tuesday—leaving control to the new Medical Cannabis Commission. Gov. Pillen appointed two commission members; a confirmation hearing is scheduled on Thursday and the commission will have until July 31 to set rules so patients can get licenses by the end of October.
