- ➤ Nebraska lawmakers rejected a bill that would have imposed stricter medical marijuana regulations Tuesday—leaving control to the new Medical Cannabis Commission. Gov. Pillen appointed two commission members; a confirmation hearing is scheduled on Thursday and the commission will have until July 31 to set rules so patients can get licenses by the end of October.
