- ➤ The Nebraska Foster Care Review Office reported that over 175 youth aged out of care with no permanent support during the 2025 fiscal year—raising concerns that these young adults may face homelessness, mental health challenges, and difficulty finding work. WOWT
- ➤ Triple A projected that Wednesday was the busiest travel day for Thanksgiving as Eppley Airport expected over 190,000 passengers, a 3.4% increase from last year. Omaha Airport Authority noted that the terminal operated in two parts (south terminal and north terminal) due to construction, so travelers were advised to allow extra time. KETV

- ➤ Dr. Lillia Cherkasskiy, a family medicine provider with CHI Health, explained that brief winter blues differ from Seasonal Affective Disorder, which can cause long-lasting depression that affects daily life, and she urged anyone having tough feelings or self-harm thoughts to seek help immediately + she also advised that healthy sleep, regular exercise and daily walks may improve mood.
