- ➤ Nebraska Elite Volleyball and Cheer Athletic Omaha are asking Gov. Pillen to approve new sports facilities because there is not enough room for young athletes — the lack of space forced them to drop 66 high school players last season. The groups say the new facilities will help local hotels and shops and boost the local economy, and Gov. Pillen will decide today if the project can move forward — the plan could offer more play opportunities for local youth. KETV
