- ➤ OPPD warned customers today about a reported scam in which an impersonator claimed to offer a new meter and tried to gain access to homes without proper ID (legitimate employees always carry their badges) and advised customers to call OPPD to verify worker authenticity. WOWT
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Viewer photos from Tuesday night show an incredible northern lights display in parts of Nebraska and Iowa — a solar storm made the auroras visible across the region. KETV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ NDOT said that restriping work along I-80 westbound from Q Street to Highway 50 will occur overnight Tuesday so that barricades can be removed by 6 a.m. today—allowing drivers to experience improved flow. KETV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ After his historic performance against UCLA, Nebraska launched a campaign to send junior running back Emmett Johnson to New York City for the Heisman Trophy ceremony. Johnson recorded 232 total yards in the 28-21 win and leads the nation in total yards (1,431) while ranking second in rushing yards. KETV
