- ➤ The Nebraska Mesonet is a network of sensors that gives farmers and weather forecasters the data they need, and it received $1.48 million in funding which added 21 stations this summer to fill key gaps—manager Ruben Behnke said the system may grow to 200 stations by 2030 as its future depends on steady government funds and local support.
