Good morning, Bellevue.
🏛️ Government
Yesterday, UNMC held Operation Blue Echo, a daylong active shooter training exercise that brought together law enforcement from across the metro area at the Maurer Center for Public Health—volunteers acted as victims to help test response plans.
The drill follows a swatting call at UNO two weeks ago and was designed to reveal gaps in emergency coordination.
