Bellevue's Lighthouse Cafe is hosting a fundraiser today from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—donating part of its sales to help former employee Susan Kremkoski, who is experiencing homelessness and risks losing her car.

Community members can also add additional support through a donation box at the cafe.

Former Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook was honored on Friday by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents in Omaha for his 25-year tenure that made the program a national force—his leadership earned four national championships and 12 NCAA semifinal appearances.
