  • October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but state data shows that only 67.6% of Nebraska women ages 40 to 74 are current with their mammograms — meaning over 30% are missing critical screenings. Doctors at Nebraska Medicine stress that early detection improves survival and advise women who are due for testing to schedule a mammogram soon.  WOWT
