Pollinator Alliance of the Heartland hosts Milkweed & Cookies on Saturday, Sept.
19 at Bellevue University Symposium Room from 12pm to 4pm — the event features a vendor fair, cookie decorating station, speaker presentations and a Native Garden giveaway sponsored by Green Bellevue and Papio-Missouri River NRD.

More than 60,000 passengers are expected to fly through Eppley Airfield for Labor Day travel, and the airport is 60% complete + four new gates with modern amenities will soon open as construction continues until 2028.
🏥 Health
UNMC broke ground on a new Infectious Diseases Air Transport training facility + launched its Office for the Advancement of Military Medicine on Friday in Omaha.
The $17.4 million center will train healthcare and transport staff using biocontainment modules and an aircraft fuselage for high-risk infections.
