- ➤ Governor Pillen said Monday morning that while the state's National Guard might support efforts in Chicago as suggested by the president, the soldiers volunteered for administrative work and will not engage in arrests. He noted that 20 soldiers assisted ICE with swabs, fingerprinting and other tasks at facilities in Omaha, Grand Island and North Platte — stressing that the mission focuses solely on safety. KETV
- ➤ Two new ballot measures to cut property taxes were unveiled by Advocates for All Nebraskans at the Capitol Rotunda Monday—one measure would cut taxes in half while the other would limit property value growth to 3% per year.
