- ➤ Roberto Lamadrid Campuzano, 38, an alleged MS-13 gang member from Mexico, was sentenced by a federal court in Omaha to 24 months in prison for illegal reentry—he was removed from the U.S. on May 30th, 2014 following felony convictions in Iowa in 2006 and was arrested on April 10th in Elkhorn after Bellevue Police pulled him over on April 4th. - ➤ Bellevue police responded at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday to a call about an unclothed man in a pool near South 28th Avenue and Cedar Island Road and later caught the 43-year-old man, Justin Lieffers, who fled on foot but resisted custody before he died after being handcuffed—officers performed lifesaving measures before he was taken to University of Nebraska Medical Center—and a grand jury is set to investigate his in-custody death.
