Bellevue native Billy McGuigan debuts his original family musical (Sgt. Pepper and the Search for the Yellow Submarine) at Bellevue Little Theatre on August 7–9, with local young performers from the McGuigan Arts Academy joining him in his hometown premiere.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture approved a disaster declaration on Wednesday for 13 Nebraska counties to offer up to eight months of USDA drought emergency loan assistance.
Governor Pillen said the action now covers 86 counties and will support farmers fighting severe drought in the region.
