- ➤ Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against General Motors and OnStar for unlawfully taking and using sensitive driving data from Nebraskans without asking permission—GM installed systems that tracked speed, seatbelt use, location and driving habits and then sold the data to brokers who used it to create insurance scores that led to higher rates and canceled policies.
