- ➤ Laramie and Trio are certified service dogs who help victims feel less scared when they testify in Sarpy and Douglas County courthouses — their training helps ease anxiety during legal proceedings. - ➤ Nebraska doctors warned that if Medicaid cuts take effect and reimbursement drops to $0.35 per dollar of care, hospitals may lose essential services—especially in rural areas where almost half are already losing money. The Nebraska Hospital Association said extra costs from patients without coverage could force programs to shut down and even lead to hospital closures. KETV
