- ➤ Former Sunshine Foundation recipient Josh Goblowsky sponsored 11-year-old Theodore’s ‘Dream Come True’ at American Academies of Martial Arts on Tuesday, May 5, where Sunshine Foundation President Kate Sample joined in celebrating Theodore’s hope of visiting Universal Orlando Resort theme parks. - ➤ The Bellevue Food Pantry broke ground on a new building at the old public library location on Friday morning. The new 20,000 sqft facility (compared to its current 1,000 sqft space) will serve twice as many neighbors and is set to open in early 2027. 3 News Now

- ➤ Bellevue Public Library hosted its 'Legends & Mythical Creatures' adult reading program kickoff on Sunday, Apr. 19 when over 1,000 residents gathered on the library lawn to enjoy live music, food trucks & community activities. Many attendees registered to earn entries for grand prizes during the six-week program. Bellevue Times
