- ➤ A new Alzheimer’s report shows that more than 7 million Americans now live with the disease, and in Nebraska, 35,100 seniors had Alzheimer’s in 2020 with 746 reported deaths the following year—highlighting a growing need for more doctors and caregiving support. The report also notes that Nebraska had just 27 geriatricians in 2021 and calls for increased training to help meet future care demands. WOWT
