- ➤ After a road rage incident on Highway 44 near Harlan, Iowa, Bellevue police arrested 23-year-old Jacob Snyder for attempted murder when a white pick-up fired shots at a vehicle that went into a ditch — the injured victim was taken to a hospital and Snyder now awaits extradition. WOWT

- ➤ On Wednesday, the Nebraska Army National Guard opened new facilities in Mead and Bellevue. The Mead facility is 27,000 square feet and can house 176 soldiers while the Bellevue building covers 104,000 square feet, holds 440 soldiers, shares land with Offutt Air Force Base, and cost $47.6 million in total.
