- ➤ Several drivers reported that a BP station in Olde Towne Bellevue sold water-tainted gas that led to sudden vehicle breakdowns & costly repairs. The Bellevue Fire Marshal ordered the station to stop selling gas and launched an investigation to determine the source of the water. 3 News Now
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Eaton is building a 30 million dollar facility in Bellevue to make switch gear for electrical panels and is expected to add over 200 jobs; production will begin next year at the Blue Buffalo plant. The project was chosen for its access to a workforce and key transportation routes. WOWT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bellevue’s planned water park is under construction and raising traffic concerns as cars back up at the Highway 75/34 interchange. City officials, including Mayor Rusty Hike, said temporary traffic signals will be installed next summer + long-term improvements may follow before the park opens. WOWT
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Allergy season has arrived early as tree pollen causes itchy eyes and sneezing, and Nebraska Medicine experts advise caution when using certain OTC decongestants (especially for those over 40). They recommend keeping windows closed and showering after outdoor exposure to reduce pollen buildup. WOWT
