- ➤ The Bellevue Alumni Association will honor eight distinguished graduates at its inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Brunch on Saturday, Apr. 11 at Frank Kumor Career Center (2812 Arboretum Dr). The event begins at 10 a.m. and requires registration by Wednesday, Apr. 8 (tickets cost $25 and include a brunch buffet). Bellevue Times
- ➤ Papillion-based Moving Veterans Forward celebrates 15 years of helping Omaha and Council Bluffs veterans secure food, furniture & appliances. The nonprofit has aided over 3,000 veterans and will soon move to a larger warehouse to expand storage. 3 News Now

- ➤ After a February fire forced Stella's Bar and Grill to close, a community fundraiser secured a temporary space at the Bellevue Eagles Club. The restaurant will serve customers every Monday, Wednesday & Friday until repairs begin. 3 News Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, lawmakers approved a compromise bill that would let living Nebraskans, including former coach Tom Osborne, join the Nebraska Hall of Fame by removing the waiting period and broadening the criteria. The bill now awaits further debate and may change rules for future inductee nominations. WOWT
