- ➤ Offutt Air Force Base is undergoing a change of command today as the 95th Wing replaces the 595th Command and Control Group in a ceremony attended by Nebraska Congress members and local mayors. The expansion will add about 80 new service members soon and several hundred more later to support nuclear weapons management. KETV
- ➤ Nebraska voters approved a paid sick leave law in November by 75 percent, but on Friday lawmakers added changes to the bill that exempt businesses with fewer than 10 employees, independent contractors, seasonal workers and employees under 16—removing the ability of workers to protest if rules are not followed. Lawmakers said these changes will help small businesses manage costs from recent minimum wage hikes, though some original supporters said the vote’s intent was weakened. KETV
