- ➤ Bellevue broke ground today on Bellevue Bay — a new indoor water park being built northwest of the Highway 34 and Highway 75 interchange. The park, partly funded by a $60 million bond and revenues from the Bellevue Good Life District, will feature a retractable roof, lazy river, rock climbing wall and over 3,300 feet of water slides with hotels and businesses connected by a climate-controlled corridor; it is set to open in 2027. - ➤ The Nebraska Passport travel program will run from May 1 to September 30 and offer 70 stops across the state for restaurants + museums + parks + roadside attractions to support small businesses.
