- ➤ Christian Lara, 23, was arrested after his mother called 911 and he appeared in court Tuesday—he faces charges of second-degree murder, second-degree assault, terroristic threats and use of a firearm to commit a felony in connection with the fatal shooting of 21-year-old George Negrete near Englewood Drive and Galvin Road that occurred last Thursday—and his preliminary hearing is set for April 28.
