- ➤ Employees picketed at Premier-Midwest Beer & Beverage since Monday after their union contract expired, with about 50 picketers as of Thursday. Teamsters Local 554 said over 35 new demands weakened benefits, and the parent company said it was negotiating to keep service running for eastern Nebraska customers. KETV

- ➤ Nebraska lawmakers passed LB 258 (introduced by Sen. Jane Raybould) on Thursday, lowering the minimum wage for workers under 20 to $13.50 an hour from the regular $15 and setting caps on future hikes; the bill now goes to Gov. Jim Pillen’s desk. KETV
